Vs. Government
Merging and urges based on belief collide when those involved are not on the same page.
This is like some prefer immorality to morality because morality requires constraint, and constraints is not what immoral people seek because they are like self willed children.
Others are constrained by rules and regulations civil, federal, and / or occupational.
PROBLEMATIC IS WEAVING CHURCH AND STATE.
PRAYER AT THE OVAL OFFICE SHOULD NOT BE A CALL TO THE ALTAR. BUT OVERSEEING THE NEEDS OF THE NATION, WHICH HAPPENS TO BE SECULAR PURSUITS AND U.S. CONSTITUTION THAT KEEPS FREE ALL MAN'S CHOICES, WHETHER RELIGIOUS OR NOT.

Teachings preceeded the U.S. CONSTITUTION, giving the idea that the people were well groomed in belief systems prior to the constitutional law.
The Protestant Reformation began in Wittenberg, Germany, on October 31, 1517, when Martin Luther, a teacher and a monk, published a document he called Disputation on the Power of Indulgences, or 95 Theses. The document was a series of 95 ideas about Christianity that he invited people to debate with him.
The US Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787, marking the end of the Constitutional Convention and the beginning of the ratification process. It was then formally submitted to the states for ratification, and took effect on March 4, 1789, when the new government under the Constitution officially began.

Summation: is it FOLLY then, and not FAITH if you will not hear GOD'S WORD... JUDGE THE STATEMENTS BY WHAT THE BIBLE IS SAYING.
